We delivered a high-quality drylining package for a unique project involving complex acoustic walls, floors, and ceilings, demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship and efficient project management.

Scope of work:

Acoustic Walls
Constructed with twin 70mm British Gypsum stud and track partitions, filled with three layers of solid 100mm insulation within the wall void. These were boarded with one layer of plywood and three layers of soundblock plasterboard, finished with tape and joints on both sides.

Acoustic Floors
Built on special rubber blocks, precisely positioned per design drawings to ensure optimal soundproofing, the floors comprised:
• 2” x 4” timber frame
• Fermacell board
• 15mm sound block plasterboard
• 100mm insulation packed into the timber frame
• 5mm acoustic rubber sheet
• Plywood

Acoustic Ceilings
Independently suspended from the walls and separated by special acoustic straps adhered to the surrounding walls, the ceilings included:
• Acoustic hangers with strategically placed rubber components (installed precisely as per drawings to meet soundproofing requirements)
• MF ceiling
• 15mm sound block plasterboard
• Plywood
• 5mm rubber sheet
• 100mm solid insulation placed tightly atop the MF ceiling
• Tape and joint finishing

Classrooms
• Walls constructed with 70mm British Gypsum stud and track, filled with 50mm PIR insulation, boarded with two layers of 12.5mm soundblock plasterboard, finished with tape and fill on both sides.
• Curved walls added a visually appealing finishing touch.

Despite tight deadlines, we completed the project on time and within budget by employing a skilled team and maintaining close collaboration with our repeat client.
